COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Josh Lewis scored on a tip-in with 3.3 seconds left, his only points of the game, to lift Austin Peay to a 58-56 victory Tuesday night over Tennessee Tech.
Austin Peay (11-7, 8-0 Ohio Valley Conference) had led 35-22 at halftime but Tech (9-9, 3-4) had a 9-0 run midway through the second half to make the game close.
Adrian Henning led the Governors with 15 points, Maurice Hampton had 12 and Anthony Davis 11.
Cameron Crisp had 16 points for Tech, which stayed in the game by hitting 9-of-13 free throws and 11-of-18 3-point shots. Keyon Boyd and Willie Jenkins added 10 apiece and Jenkins had a team-high six rebounds.
Tech's Will Moore made a free throw with 1:26 left to tie it at 56. He missed a desperation 3-point shot at buzzer.
Tech led 52-46 with 6:06 left on two free throws by Boyd.
