NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Anthony Davis scored 16 points and Austin Peay advanced to the finals of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament with a 62-57 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Friday night.
Austin Peay (21-8, 16-0) will face Murray State on Saturday.
Rhet Wierzba scored 12 points and Adrian Henning had 10 points and nine rebounds for Austin Peay, which has now reached the final of the OVC Tournament three times in the past four years. Josh Lewis had eight points and 10 rebounds.
Matt Witt led Eastern Kentucky (14-15, 8-8) with 23 points and Jon Bentley added 11 and Julian Mascoll 10.
Top-seeded Austin Peay struggled with fourth-seeded Eastern Kentucky, which stayed within striking distance the entire second half. Henning hit a jumper with 4:35 to play to give Austin Peay a 60-54 lead, and neither team scored until there were just 26 seconds to play.
Austin Peay, the defending OVC Tournament champions, have won 24 straight games against OVC competition and 17 straight games over Eastern Kentucky.
