DELAND, Fla. (AP) -- Rodney Webb scored a career-high 25 points to lead Florida Atlantic to an 81-75 win over Stetson on Saturday.
Webb's chief support came from Mike Bell, who had 16 points and 15 rebounds, and guard Quinton Young added 17 points.
The Owls (9-14, 9-7 Atlantic Sun Conference) grabbed the lead early in the second half and never trailed while posting their third straight victory and their fifth win in the last six games.
E.J. Gordon led Stetson (10-14, 8-9) with 30 points and 15 rebounds, while Anthony Register had 22 points.
Webb scored six points in the first 69 seconds of the second half, helping Florida Atlantic erase a three-point halftime deficit and went up 43-38 with 18:51 to play.
The Owls trailed by nine points at 4:50 before halftime. They pushed the difference to 65-53 with 8:30 left. They never let the margin get closer than four points the rest of the way.
It was the first time in the last four meetings that the two teams did not go into overtime.
