PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) - Bilal Abdullah scored 15 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead Lafayette to a 57-46 win over Princeton on Sunday.
Ted Detmer and Andrei Capusan added 10 points each for the Leopards (2-2), who had little trouble with the Tigers (1-2). After the teams traded baskets in the game's opening minutes, Lafayette pulled ahead with an 8-0 run midway through the first half and never looked back.
Princeton was hampered by a poor shooting performance, hitting only 5-of-18 in the first half as Lafayette grabbed a 23-13 lead at the break. The Leopards then put the game on ice with a 9-0 run to start the second half, culminated by Abdullah's 3-pointer.
Noah Savage had a game-high 17 points - all in the games final 10 minutes - for Princeton, while Scott Greenman finished with 14 points and four steals.
