CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -Joe Burton and Jared Cunningham each scored 13 points to lead Oregon State to an easy 74-39 victory over Cal State Bakersfield on Sunday.
Brothers Josh and Seth Tarver added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Beavers (4-3), who have won three in a row.
Trent Blakley had 12 points for Cal State Bakersfield (1-5).
Oregon State trailed only once, at 18-17, but then went on a 17-2 run to pull away from the Roadrunners. The Beavers led 38-24 at halftime and by as many as 35 points in the second half.
Seth Tarver added eight steals, tying the Oregon State single-game record set by Brent Barry against Arizona in 1995.
Burton scored nine points in the first half, as did Blakley, all on 3-pointers in the first seven minutes.
