FARGO, N.D. (AP) Carlin Dupree scored six of his season-high 22 points in the second overtime and North Dakota State remained tied for the Summit League lead with a 100-91 win over eighth-place Western Illinois on Saturday.

Dupree's free throws 38 seconds into the second overtime made it 89-87 and the Bison (18-9, 10-4) never trailed thereafter. The Leathernecks were within 93-91 on a C.J. Duff layup with 1:58 to go but Dupree hit a jumper and two free throws and Khy Kabellis had a long 3-pointer to close it out and keep North Dakota State tied with South Dakota.

The final score was the biggest margin in the game that featured 20 ties and 14 lead changes.

Paul Miller had 29 points, Dexter Werner had 21 with nine rebounds and four blocks and Kabellis 18 for the Bison, who made 36 of 43 free throws. They won the first meeting 89-57.

Garret Covington scored 32 with nine rebounds for the Leathernecks (8-17, 5-9), who were outscored by 19 at the foul line. Dalan Ancrum added 19 and Mike Miklusak 10, including recovering a loose ball in the lane and scoring with one second left in the first overtime.
