LOS ANGELES (AP) Stefan Jovanovic scored 14 points, Shamar Johnson added 12 with eight rebounds, and Loyola Marymount beat Santa Clara 66-56 on Saturday night to end a three-game skid.

The Lions (8-7, 1-3 West Coast) outscored the Broncos 36-18 in the paint and scored 16 points off of 11 turnovers.

Tied at 28 at halftime, Jovanovic's jumper put the Lions up 45-42 with 10:37 left in the second half. The Broncos closed to 49-48 on Nate Kratch's jumper and to 54-53 on KJ Feagin's 3-pointer with 4:44 to go. Johnson made a jumper, Kelvin Amayo dunked and the Lions pulled ahead by six, 59-53.

The Broncos closed to 61-56 on Feagin's 3 with 34 seconds left, but Erik Johansson, Jeffery McClendon and Mattias Markusson combined for five free throws in the final 32 seconds and the Lions held on.

Feagin scored 21 with a career-high five 3-pointers and Kratch had 19 and three blocks for the Broncos (8-9, 2-2).
