LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) Justin Williams and Steve Leven scored 16 points apiece in leading Wyoming over Alcorn State 77-63 Friday night.
Alex Dunn contributed 9 points and 12 rebounds, and Jay Straight seven assists and three steals for Wyoming (1-0), which features eight new players this season, including five junior college transfers. It was the first game for both Williams and Leven at Wyoming.
Delvin Thompson led Alcorn State (0-3) with 12 points.
Alcorn State shot just 34 percent from the floor and committed 25 turnovers.
Wyoming, which led 46-34 at the half and built a 21-point lead early in the second half, shot 42 percent from the field and committed 20 turnovers.
