DAYTON, Ohio (AP) DaShaun Wood scored 17 points and Wright State used a 17-0 run early in the game to open a big lead in the Raiders' 67-44 victory over Brown on Sunday.
Wood was 8 of 13 from the field as the Raiders (2-1) shot 62 percent, 16 of 26, in the first half to just 35 percent, 8 of 23, for Brown (0-4).
Wood's jumper with 17:27 left in the first half started the run that did not end until Luke Ruscoe hit a 3-pointer for Brown six minutes later. The lead got as big as 25 points in the first half.
Wood scored 14 points in the first half.
Zach Williams finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Wright State. Zakee Boyd had 13 and Drew Burleson scored 12 for the Raiders.
For the game, Wright State shot 53 percent to 37 percent for Brown.
Mark McAndrew lead Brown with nine points and Mark MacDonald scored seven.
