DURHAM, N.H. -- Four players scored in double figures as New Hampshire defeated Suffolk University 89-55 Sunday.
Blagoj Janev led the team with 17 points, hitting 7-of-10 shots from the field including all three three-pointers he attempted. Janev also grabbed seven rebounds in 22 minutes of action.
Mike Christensen notched 15 points and 12 rebounds. Ben Sturgill went 6-for-7 from the field in scoring 13 points and earning eight rebounds. Damione Liddell scored 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-of-3 shooting from the free throw line.
Suffolk was led by a double-double from Josh Morelock, who scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. John Murphy and Brad Schoonmaker contributed 10 points each. The Rams shot only 31 percent from the field, committed 26 turnovers, and were out-rebounded by the Wildcats, 57-38.
