FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) Ken Tutt scored 25 points and sank a decisive baseline jumper with 24 seconds remaining to give Oral Roberts a 70-69 victory over Northern Arizona on Wednesday night.
Caleb Green added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (2-0) while Mickey Michalec had 12 points and Luk Spencer-Gardner 11.
Northern Arizona (2-2) was paced by freshman Cedric Hill's 12 points but suffered its first homecourt non-conference loss since the 2001-2002 season.
The Lumberjacks led 69-68 on Ruben Boykin Jr.'s three-point play with 37 seconds to play.
But after Tutt's basket, NAU's DeJuan Stevens missed a 13-foot jumper in the final seconds.
Stevens and Boykin each finished with 11 points and Kelly Golob 10 for the Lumberjacks, who trailed 34-24 at halftime.
