DEKALB, Ill. (AP) Kellen Easley had 14 points and eight rebounds to help Southwest Missouri State eke out a 65-63 win over Northern Illinois Wednesday night.
The close game was tied at 22 at the half before the Bears (1-1) pulled out the win.
Mike McKinney led the Huskies (0-2) with 11 points and Cory Sims was the only other player in double digits with 10.
Easley was the only Bear to score in double digits.
