DEKALB, Ill. (AP) Lawrence Wright and Marcellus Sommerville each scored 19 points to lead Bradley to a 76-74 overtime victory over Northern Illinois on Wednesday night.
Bradley (3-1) sank nine of 12 free throws in overtime for the margin of victory. Tony Bennett and Jeremy Crouch also added 12 points each for the Braves.
Cory Sims led Northern Illinois (1-3) with 17 points. Johnathan Byrd and Mike McKinney each scored 14 points. The Huskies lost despite a 32-21 advantage in points off the bench.
