SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) Tyler Berg scored 19 points to lead Wofford to an 81-76 victory over Jacksonville State on Wednesday night, snapping the Gamecocks' four-game winning streak.
Eric Marshall added 17 points and Adrien Borders had 15 for the Terriers (3-2).
Anthony Wilson led the Gamecocks (4-3) with 16 points and a career-high eight rebounds. B.J. Spencer added 15 points.
Wofford led by as many as 17 points at 70-53 with 6:34 left in the second half, but the Gamecocks rallied with a 12-2 run capped by Spencer's layup that cut the margin to 72-65.
The Terriers made six free throws in the final minute to seal the win.
Jacksonville State's leading scorer, Walker Russell, was averaging 20.8 points a game but was held to a season-low seven points after he missed his first 15 shots.
