COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) Antoine Wright scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Texas A&M to an 81-63 win over Oakland University on Wednesday night.
Joseph Jones and Dominique Kirk both scored in double-digits for Texas A&M (4-0) for the second consecutive game. Jones had 14 points and seven rebounds and Kirk added 12.
Rawle Marshall scored 22 and Cortney Scott added 12 to lead Oakland (0-4).
The Aggies shot 64 percent from the floor and led by as many as 25 in the second half.
With the win, A&M head coach Billy Gillispie became the first A&M coach since H.R. McQuillan in 1935 to begin his career at A&M with a 4-0 mark.
