JACKSON, Miss. (AP) Blake Walker scored 26 points as Portland State overcame a 17-point deficit in the second half for a 63-62 victory over Jackson State on Wednesday night.
Portland State (3-2) trailed 47-30 with 10:00 left in the game. The Vikings went on a 27-12 run over an eight-minute stretch and took a 60-59 lead on Walker's basket with 1:15 remaining in the game.
Walker, who scored 17 points in the second half, hit a free throw to put Portland State ahead 63-61 with 00:15 to play.
Jackson State got a free throw to pull within 63-62 but couldn't convert on the inbound pass as time expired.
Antone Jarrell added 10 points for Portland State, which has a three-game winning streak for the first time since the 2002 season.
Jackson State (0-6) was lead by Kelly Ross with 16 points, Charlie White had 11 and Hilton Tompkins and Ernest Hassell scored 10 each.
Jackson State led 35-21 at the half.
