NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) Junior guard Charles Lee scored a game-high 22 points and had a career-high 18 rebounds to lead Bucknell to a 73-65 win against Yale in overtime Saturday.
Lee hit a 3-pointer from the left corner with 17 seconds left to force overtime.
Yale, which led by six with 56 seconds left, missed four of five free throw attempts in the final 1:19, including two by Dominick Martin with 31 seconds left.
Martin had made eight of his first 10 free throw attempts Saturday.
Senior guard Edwin Draughan, who missed a jumper at the buzzer in regulation, led Yale with 21 points.
Yale (2-4) turned the ball over with 20 seconds left, trailing 67-65 in overtime. Bucknell (4-4) made each of its six free throws in the final 20 seconds. Martin, plagued by foul trouble, scored 12 points and added eight rebounds in 19 minutes.
Bucknell is 10-1 in overtime under coach Pat Flannery, in his 11th season.
Kevin Bettencourt was held to eight points, but hit a key 3-pointer with 2:29 left to pull the Bison within three. John Clark had 11 points for Bucknell, including a 3-pointer with 48 seconds to pull the Bison within 57-54.
