LORETTO, Pa. (AP) Darshan Luckey scored 35 points as St. Francis, Pa., rallied from a 19-point deficit for an 84-81 overtime win over Central Connecticut State on Saturday night.
St. Francis (3-2, 1-0 Northeast Conference) fell behind 27-8 early and trailed 47-30 at the half.
Luckey led the comeback with 25 points in the second half, including a 3-pointer that gave St. Francis its first lead of the game, 71-69, with 2:39 to play.
Obie Nwadike's bucket with 2:04 to play forced overtime with the score tied at 71.
Luckey hit a pair of free-throws and a 3-pointer to put the Red Flash on top to stay in overtime.
The Blue Devils (1-4, 0-1) battled back within 82-81 with 39 seconds left, then Luckey hit a jumper with 19 seconds to go to seal the win.
Garrett Farha scored 19 points and hit 5-of-6 3-pointers for St. Francis, which shot 70 percent from the field in the second half and overtime.
Nwadike's 23 points led Central Connecticut State, while Javier Mojica had 15 points and 15 rebounds.
