TROY, Ala. (AP) -- James Poindexter hit 8-of-13 shots, including seven three-pointers, and scored 28 points as Lipscomb defeated Troy 77-68 Saturday night.
Lipscomb (3-1, 1-0 Atlantic Sun) trailed the Trojans 34-31 at halftime, but shot 57 percent from the field in the second half to come from behind for the win.
Cameron Robinson scored 20 points and pulled down 13 rebounds for the Bison, while Brian Fisk had 14 points.
Troy (1-5, 0-2) was led by Eddie Baker with 19 points. Corey Hornsby added 17 for the Trojans and Ransom Antoine had 11.
The Trojans hit only 33 percent of their shots.
