TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) Jerod Adler scored 15 points and a game-high eight rebounds and David Moss had 15 points and six assists as Indiana State outpaced Eastern Illinois 76-57 Saturday.
Eric Gray added 14 and Amani Daanish 13 for the Sycamores (3-2). Indiana State shot 74.4 percent (32-of-43) from the free-throw line, led by Moss with a perfect 7-of-7.
Emanuel Dildy had 17 and Josh Gomes 13 for the Panthers (2-2), who led 6-4 early in the first quarter and trailed the rest of the game.
The Sycamores went on a 14-to-6 run in the second quarter to lead 32-20 at the break, and opened the third quarter with 13-to-4 run to lead 45-24 with 15:55 left.
The Panthers got no closer than 11 after that, and Indiana State stretched its lead to 20 at 70-50 with just over four minutes left.
The Sycamores' pressure defense led to 23 points off turnovers, while Eastern Illinois managed just seven.
The win was the 100th at Indiana State for coach Royce Waltman.
