ELON, N.C. (AP) -- Colin Wyatt scored 13 points as Elon beat Greensboro 66-50 on Saturday.
Elon (2-5) led 32-27 at halftime and then put the clamps on the Pride, holding Greensboro (2-5) to just 6 of 27 shooting in the second half and 34 percent from the field overall.
Elon's advantage was inside. The Phoenix had more rebounds (42-30) and more points in the paint (26-16). They shot 45.1 percent from the field.
Elon also got better production from their bench, getting 31 points from the reserves compared to 19 points for Greensboro.
Rodney Blackstock led the Pride with 12 points.
