MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) With two seconds left on the clock, Craig Benson buried a 3-pointer and sealed a Quinnipiac win against Robert Morris, 88-85.
Quinnipiac (4-2) rallied from a 12-point deficit to win.
Robert Morris was ahead 71-59 with just under nine minutes to play. Then the Bobcats went on a 9-0 run, with Rob Monroe scoring six and Benson three.
With the lead fluctuating, Monroe hit a 3-pointer to even the game at 82-82 with 2:43 left. Benson hit another. Chaz McCrommon brought the Colonials within one with a jumper, then Joseph Ison hit a free throw to tie it again.
Benson, who scored a career-high 27 points, hit the winning shot. Monroe led scoring for Quinnipiac with 32 points.
For Robert Morris (2-4), Maurice Carter had 30 points and eight rebounds.
