MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) Mike Gansey scored 15 points and West Virginia breezed to a 78-44 victory over Radford on Saturday night.
Tyrone Sally added 13 points for West Virginia, which is 4-0 for the first time under third-year coach John Beilein. Kevin Pittsnogle scored 12 points and Darris Nichols and Patrick Beilein had 10 apiece.
Radford (4-2) scored just 17 points in the second half, shooting 30 percent from the floor.
West Virginia trailed 8-0 early, but went on a 13-0 run midway through the first half for a 28-22 lead.
The Mountaineers led 43-27 at halftime and Radford got no closer than 13 in the second half. West Virginia put the game out of reach with a 10-0 run midway through the period.
Whit Holcomb-Faye led Radford with 16 points and Chris Oliver scored 14.
