SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP)_ Ricky Woods scored 24 points to lead Southeastern Louisiana to a 77-55 win over Youngstown State for third place in the Price Cutter Classic at Southwest Missouri State on Saturday.
After Southeastern Louisiana(5-2) saw its 12-point first-half lead shrink to 28-22 at halftime, the Lions ran away from Youngstown State (2-3) to go up 56-33 with 10:30 left.
Jonathan Patton scored 11 points and Woods, who scored 16 in the second half, added eight during the run.
Youngstown State, which committed 23 turnovers, never got closer than 19 points after that.
Southeastern outscored Youngstown State 40 to 28 in the paint and shot 51 percent from the field while Youngstown State shot 41 percent.
Patton finished with 16 for Southeastern and Terry Bryant added 10.
Brian Radakovich led Youngstown State with 18 and Quin Humphrey added 15.
