MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- Charles Brown scored 13 points and Brandon Worthy added 11, leading Loyola Marymount to a 63-59 victory over South Alabama on Tuesday night.
Mario Jointer led South Alabama (2-4) with a game-high 33 points, the Jaguars' only double figures. Jointer shot 10-of-13 from the field, hit 7-of-9 3-pointers and was perfect in six free throw attempts.
Brown shot 4-of-11 and 3-of-5 from 3-point range, while Worthy hit 5-of-7 free throws for the Lions (5-1). Matthew Knight added 10 points.
The Lions led 31-29 at halftime.
