LORETTO, Pa. (AP) -- Darshan Luckey scored 23 points and Rodney Gibson added 17 off the bench to lead St. Francis, Pa., to an 83-74 win over Ohio on Tuesday night.
St. Francis (4-2) broke out to a 15-point lead early in the second half before Ohio (3-1) stormed back within 56-55 with 9:44 to play. The Red Flash then ran off eight straight points and were never threatened again.
Gibson hit three 3-pointers during a three-minute span of the first half to erase a 22-16 deficit. He later had a key tipin for a 59-55 edge, followed by a 3-pointer two minutes later to push the margin to 64-55.
The Red Flash hit 9-of-12 3-pointers, including 4-for-4 by Gibson and 3-for-3 by Garrett Farha, who had 14 points.
Ohio's Leon Williams led all scorers with 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Mychal Green added 15 points and Jeff Halbert 12 for the Bobcats.
