HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) -- Jarekus Singleton had 19 points to help Southern Miss beat Spring Hill 76-60 Tuesday night.
David Haywood added 17 for the Golden Eagles, Jason Forte had 13 and Rashaad Carruth added 10. Singleton also had nine rebounds and 7-of-10 field goals
Southern Miss (5-2) shot 51.1 percent from the floor while Spring Hill (3-6) struggled throughout the game and shot only 41.5 percent.
Krisner Green scored 17 for Spring Hill and Cash Covington added 14.
The Golden Eagles led 35-26 at the half.
