SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -- Anthony Dill scored 23 points to lead Texas State to a 69-60 victory over Utah Valley State on Tuesday night.
Dill hit 9-of-10 from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line. He also had five rebounds. Brad Brickens added 23 points and Chris Langhorne had a career-high 10 rebounds.
Zach Allison, who finished with seven points, hit a layup with 2:18 left in the second half to give Texas State (3-2) a 61-53 lead.
Ronnie Price led Utah Valley State (1-5) with 28 points, including six 3-pointers.
Texas State led 30-29 at the half.
Texas State shot 51 percent from the field to 34 percent for Utah Valley State.
