CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -- Brett Hale scored 19 points as Southeast Missouri State beat Central Methodist 83-77 Saturday night.
Southeast Missouri (3-4) took an early 10-point lead on the shooting of Dainmon Gonner, who finished with 18 points.
Central Methodist (8-5) was led by Jordan Willer with 22 points. Shaun Fanger added 12 points, Shane Ringen had 11 and Doug Davidson and Mike Wilken had 10 points each for Central Methodist.
Reggie Golson scored 16 points and had a team-high seven rebounds for Southeast Missouri, Derek Winans added 13 points and Paul Paradoski had seven assists and only one turnover.
