HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) -- Eric Webb scored 18 points and Quan Prowell had 15 points and 11 rebounds as Furman ran away from High Point in the second half to win 58-45 on Saturday.
Furman (4-4) trailed 19-18 at halftime after shooting just 20 percent from the field. The Paladins shot 62 percent after the break, compared to 35 percent for High Point (2-7).
Webb scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half. He buried 5 of 9 3-pointers as Furman connected on 7 of 10 from long range in the second half.
Danny Gathings led High Point with 16 points. Zione White added 12 for the Panthers, who notched a season-low in points and shooting (29 percent).
Gathings scored five straight points to give the Panthers their final lead of the game (26-25) at the 13:47 mark.
The Paladins responded with a 13-1 run that gave Furman its first double-digit lead of the game at 38-27 with 10:38 to play.
