NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- Harding Nana and Rulon Washington scored 19 points each as the University of Delaware battled back from a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat Rider 68-66 on Saturday.
Washington hit five 3-pointers for the Blue Hens (4-3).
Andrew Washington added 17 points.
Mike Slattery, who injured his wrist in the first half, did not attempt a shot but dished out a game-high nine assists and pulled six rebounds.
Rider (4-3) got 16 points off the bench from Jason Thompson and 12 points from forward Edwin Muniz. Rider had the chance to win the game several times in the final seconds but couldn't come through, misfiring on four 3-point attempts in the final 21 seconds, including two in the final two seconds, that would have won the game.
Delaware outscored Rider 38-26 in the second half and used 65 percent shooting from the field to rally back and win the game.
The Hens also hit on 6-of-11 second-half 3-point attempts.
Rider shot just 37 percent from the field in the second half.
