SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -- Josh Naylor scored eight of his 17 points during a game-turning run in the second half to lead Texas State past St. Gregory's 59-48 Saturday.
Naylor keyed a 15-2 spurt which gave Texas State (4-2) a 48-40 lead with 4:54 remaining.
Patrick Jones had 18 points and 11 rebounds for St. Gregory's (3-7).
Jones hit a jumper which gave St. Gregory's a 38-33 lead with 12:49 left. But Naylor tied the game at 40 nearly three minutes later with a 3-pointer, and he hit another that gave the Bobcats a 43-40 lead with 9:23 left.
Anthony Dill added 16 points for Texas State and Brad Brickens had 12.
Tarin Baker scored 12 points for St. Gregory's.
