RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Nick Fazekas scored 22 points for the second consecutive night to lead Nevada past Eastern Illinois, 83-57, in the championship game of the Dodge Holiday Classic Saturday.
Kevinn Pinkney added 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ramon Sessions passed out 11 assists for Nevada (6-3), which won the tournament for the second straight year.
The Wolf Pack, which only trailed once in the game at 9-8, outrebounded the Panthers (4-4) 40-27 and hit 27-of-54 shots, including 8-of-12 3-pointers.
Nevada also dished 20 assists. After trailing, Nevada went on a 25-7 run to take a 33-16 lead with 5:54 to play.
Mo Charlo, who scored a career-high 17 points, helped fuel the run with a pair of 3-pointers. David Ellis capped the run with a layup.
Nevada went on a 14-0 run near the end of the first half and into the second half, ending on Kyle Shilohs 3-pointer that built a 49-22 lead with 19:06 left.
Nevada extended its lead to 71-34, its biggest lead of the game, on Pinkney's dunk with 10:22 to play.
The Wolf Pack took a 44-22 lead into halftime.
Emanuel Dildy and George Tandy each had 12 points to lead Eastern Illinois Bobby Catchings added 10 points.
