HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) -- Andrew Zidar scored a game-high 28 points and Alvin Reed added 24 to lead Colgate to a 101-85 win over Hobart on Saturday.
Colgate (3-5) snapped a three-game losing streak, while Hobart (3-2) lost its second straight game.
Jon Simon and Keith Williams also scored in double digits for Colgate, with 19 and 10 points, respectively.
Colgate put together an early nine-point run to open a 14-5 lead. The Raiders led by as many as 20 points before settling for a 53-37 halftime lead.
Hobart cut the Colgate advantage to three points, 65-62, with 11:33 remaining, before the Raiders extended their lead back to 76-66 with 9:28 left, ending the Statesmen rally.
The Raiders outrebounded the Statesmen 42-26.
Mike Manning led Hobart with 23 points, while Colby Feane and Adam Frederic tallied 20 apiece.
