BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) -- Alan Daniels scored 24 points as Lamar defeated NAIA Wiley College 110-64 Saturday night.
Lamar (5-3) led 57-29 at halftime and led by as many as 52 points in the second half.
Wiley (3-8) scored the first basket of the game, but Lamar scored the next 18. Jason Grant capped the Cardinals' spurt with a dunk with 14:46 left in the opening half.
Sylvester Simple scored 16 points for the Wildcats and Kurtis Murray added 15.
Lamar's Nashid Beard had 17 points, Jason Grant chipped in with 14 and Josh Goodwin scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
The Cardinals had six players score in double figures.
Lamar held Wiley to 35 percent shooting from the field (22-of-63). The Wildcats also turned the ball over 31 times.
