NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Luke Geiver scored 26 points and Brady Hokenson's basket with 10 seconds left gave South Dakota State an 82-80 victory Wednesday night over Tennessee State.
Hokenson finished with 12 points for the Jackrabbits (2-8), who came back from 12 points down.
Geiver was 6 of 8 from 3-point range and 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
Kareem Grant had tied it 80-80 with a 3-point shot for Tennessee State (5-7) with 14 seconds left.
Bruce Price missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the Tigers, who led 40-37 at halftime and had 10-point leads three times.
The Jackrabbits, who just went up to NCAA Division I, fought back to tie it 75-75 on a jumper by Steve Holdren with 1:19 left.
South Dakota State made 13-of-17 free throws, while Tennessee State was 6-of-11.
Rod Flowers led Tennessee State with 24 points, while Price and Eric King had 14 each.
