DENTON, Texas (AP) -- Quincy Williams and Leonard Hopkins scored 14 points apiece for North Texas, which beat Southeast Missouri State 69-62 on Wednesday night.
Hopkins was only 2-of-6 from the field but hit 10 of 12 free throws.
Michael Jones grabbed nine rebounds and Williams had eight for the Mean Green (6-3), which had a 46-36 rebounding advantage.
Dainmon Gonner and Terrick Willoughby each scored 17 points for the Indians (3-6). Reggie Golson grabbed 12 rebounds, and Gonner had 11.
Both teams were plagued by poor shooting. Southeast Missouri was 8-of-31 from the field during the first half but trailed by only three at halftime.
