NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- Reserve Brian Hodges scored 16 points, 12 on 3-pointers, to lead UMBC to a 66-56 victory over Delaware on Wednesday night.
The Blue Hens (4-7) dropped their fourth straight and are off to their worst start since the 1990-91 season.
Andrew Feeley added 13 points and eight rebounds for UMBC (5-5), while John Zito had 11 points and eight rebounds and Cory McJimson added 11 points.
Harding Nana had 25 points and 11 rebounds for Delaware, his sixth double-double in the last seven games.
