CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) -- Isiah Carson scored 19 points and Ahmad Smith added 18 as St. Bonaventure beat Alcorn State 80-66 Wednesday night at the Flint Hills Islander Invitational.
Carson was 8-of-10 from the field and Smith 8-of-12 for the hot-shooting Bonnies (1-10), who hit 60 percent from the field.
Delvin Thompson scored 14 and Patrick Horton added 10 points to lead Alcorn State (1-9).
The Bonnies never trailed and jumped to a 39-19 halftime lead as Alcorn made only seven field goals in the second half. Patrick Lottin added 17 points for the Bonnies, including 3-of-5 on 3-point shots.
Carson and Smith also led St. Bonaventure with six rebounds apiece. The Bonnies outrebounded Alcorn 37-27.
