NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- Brandon Freeman scored 27 of Arkansas-Little Rock's 71 points to lead the Trojans to a 71-53 victory over St. Gregory's on Wednesday.
Freeman shot 10-of-17 from the field and 7-of-13 from the free throw line. Zack Wright followed from the bench with 13 points and Josh Jacobs had 11. Ark.-Little Rock (7-4) hit 76.9 percent of its free throws.
St. Gregory's (3-8) shot 22-of-53 from the field for 41.5 percent. Tarin Baker led the team with 21 points. Charles Traylor had 14 and Diogo Mello had 11. St. Gregory's shot 25 percent from the free throw line, going 5-of-8 and 4-of-16 for 3-point attempts.
Ark.-Little Rock's 18 assists edged out St. Gregory's 10. St. Gregory's turned the ball over 16 times. Ark.-Little Rock had 13 turnovers. The Trojans led by ten at the half and contined dominating in the second. Wright hit half of Ark.-Little Rock's 3-point shots, going 5-of-6 from the 3-point line.
Jacobs was a 100 percent shooter for Ark.-Little Rock going 5-of-5 from the floor and 1-of-1 from the free throw line.
For St. Gregory's, Baker was a perfect 2-for-2 from the 3-point line. He shot 9-of-21 from the field and 1-of-5 from the foul line.
