GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Eric Webb scored 27 points and Furman set records for 3-pointers and victory margin in a 126-33 win over Virginia Intermont on Wednesday night.
The Paladins (7-4) made 21 3-pointers, surpassing the previous mark of 14 against Davidson last season. The 93-point margin topped an 87-point victory over The Citadel in 1955.
Webb, who had eight 3-pointers, led five Paladins in double figures. George Brozos scored 20, Robby Bostain and Quan Prowell had 17 each and Tony Carter added 12.
Chris Wise scored 14 points to lead the NAIA Division II Cobras (0-13).
Furman scored the game's first 16 points and went ahead by 33 midway through the first half. The Paladins led by 61 at halftime, 69-8.
Furman hit 70 percent (49 of 70) of its field goals compared with 30 percent (12 of 40) for Virginia Intermont.
The win was Larry Davis' 100th in eight seasons (100-117).
