CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) -- Thomas Bailey scored 17 points and Travis Bailey added 13 points and eight assists as Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beat Chicago State 86-59 Saturday night.
Thomas Bailey hit all three of his 3-point attempts and Travis Bailey went 3-of-4 as A&M Corpus Christi (9-3) hit 53 percent from long range.
Deji Akindele and Kevin Jones each scored 14 to lead Chicago State (1-8).
The Islanders led throughout, hitting their first 10 shots in a 23-6 run to open the game. They led 39-24 at halftime and shot 60 percent from the field for the game.
Corey Lamkin chipped in 12 points and three steals for the Islanders, Chris Daniels had 11 points, and Aaron White scored 10.
The Islanders' bench outscored Chicago State's bench 43-10, with nine A&M-Corpus Christi players playing 15 minutes or more.
Chicago State shot just 38 percent from the field, including 1-of-9 on 3-pointers.
