DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Bryant McAllister scored 26 points and Kieron Achara had 23 to lead Duquesne to a 94-93 victory over Dayton in double overtime on Wednesday night.
Dayton (6-5, 0-1 Atlantic 10) led Duquesne (4-10, 1-0) by 73-68 with 23 seconds left in regulation, but a jumper by Achara and two free throws by Martin Osimani put Duquesne within two points with 10 seconds remaining. Achara hit a dunk shot to send the game into overtime.
Dayton led 85-83 with 11 seconds remaining when the score was tied again on a jumper by McAllister and went into the second overtime.
With Dayton ahead 93-90 at the 1:39 mark, McAllister made two free throws and Chauncey Duke scored the game-winning layup with five seconds remaining to give Duquesne its first win over Dayton at Dayton since Feb. 1, 1983.
Osmani added 11 points for Duquesne.
Monty Scott led scoring for Dayton with 25 points, while Brian Roberts added 17 and Trent Meacham scored 13.
