HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) -- Zione White scored 20 points to lead three players in double-digit scoring and lift High Point to a 73-56 victory over Liberty on Wednesday.
White hit 6-of-7 from the line and 2-of-3 from 3-point range for the Panthers (6-8, 1-0 South Conference).
Also scoring double-digits for High Point were Danny Gathings with 12 points and Issa Konare with a career-high 11.
The Panthers led 32-30 at the half. They scored the first 10 points of the second period and used a 26-8 run to take control of the game.
High Point forced Liberty into 23 turnovers and had 11 steals.
Larry Blair scored 25 points for the Flames (2-10, 0-1), hitting 4-of-4 from the line and 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. David Dees added 14 points and eight assists for Liberty.
