SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) -- Chakowby Hicks scored 27 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had five assists to lead Norfolk State to an 81-50 victory over Savannah State on Wednesday night.
The Spartans (4-7) opened the second half with a 20-11 run and increased their lead to 38 on Calvin Brown's layup. Brown had 14 points.
The Tigers (0-18), who never led, were outrebounded by 53-31.
Donald Carson had 14 points and six rebounds for Savannah State. Marks Williams, who shot 5-21, added 18 points.
