PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Forward Marcellus Sommerville scored 22 points and added nine rebounds Wednesday night to lead Bradley to an 81-70 victory over Southwest Missouri State.
Tony Bennett added 14 points and Michael Rembert scored 10 for Bradley (9-2, 2-1), which has won seven of its last eight games. The Braves took a comfortable 46-31 lead into halftime by shooting 17-of-34 from the field.
Sky Frazier came off the bench to score 19 for Southwest Missouri State (7-4, 1-2). Anthony Shavies added 16 points for the Bears in a relief role, including two 3-pointers.
Southwest Missouri State, which shot 21-of-71 from the field, got 43 points from its bench.
