WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -- Zach Morley scored a career-high 22 points to help Wisconsin snap a 29-game losing streak at Mackey Arena with a 77-68 win over Purdue on Wednesday night.

After hitting just nine 3-pointers in the first 11 games this season, Morley made a career-high six 3s for Wisconsin (10-2, 1-0 Big Ten), which hadn't won at Purdue since 1972.

Shariff Chambliss added 16 points and six assists for the Badgers, who won their fifth in a row.

Carl Landry led Purdue with 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting. But in what has been a recurring problem for the junior college transfer this season, Landry got into foul trouble early and Purdue (4-7, 0-1) was lost without him.

When Landry went to the bench with his third foul just three minutes into the second half, Wisconsin went on a 16-7 run to take control.

The Badgers hit five straight 3-pointers _ four by Morley _ in a four-minute span to take a 50-37 lead.

Purdue never got closer than nine points the rest of the way.

David Teague scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds for Purdue, which hosts No. 1 Illinois on Saturday.

The Boilermakers started out strong, using a 12-3 run in the first six minutes to open up a 16-9 lead. But Landry sat the final 11 minutes of the half after picking up his second foul, and Wisconsin took advantage.

The Badgers were brilliant from 3-point range all game, making a season-high 14 of 22 attempts. Their first six baskets were 3-pointers, and they shot 8-for-10 from behind the arc in the first half compared to just 2-for-15 inside 3-point range.

Chambliss hit the seventh 3 of the first half with just under four minutes to play for a 23-22 lead, which sparked a 12-2 run that gave Wisconsin a 30-26 lead at halftime.

Purdue also didn't have much help from its home crowd. Mackey Arena was less than half full, thanks in part to the students being on break for the holidays and an ice storm in the area.

Wisconsin's last win at Mackey Arena was an 84-65 victory on Feb. 15, 1972.
