GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Ronnie Burrell scored 19 points to lead three players in double-digit scoring as UNC-Greensboro beat Wofford 61-44 on Wednesday.
Kyle Hines had his sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Spartans (8-4, 1-0 SoCon). Hines blocked three shots, extending his season total to 51 and making him the fastest Spartan to 50 blocked shots in a season.
Ray Bristow added 12 points.
Howard Wilkerson led the Terriers (8-5, 1-1) with 12 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.
Wofford missed 11 of its first 12 shots from the field, and the Spartans missed eight of their first 11 shots from the floor.
An 11-11 tie midway through the first half was broken when the Spartans scored six straight points.
The Terriers were held to just seven points over the final 11 minutes of the second half, including a 12-0 run capped off by Ray Bristow's 3-pointer with 2:17 to play, giving the Spartans a 17-point lead.
