NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Alex Loughton scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Saturday night to lead Old Dominion to a 76-43 victory over mistake-prone James Madison.
Old Dominion (13-2, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association) scored 18 points off 27 James Madison turnovers. The Monarchs raced to a 27-9 lead with 6:54 left in the first half and maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way.
James Madison (2-9, 0-3) had only six assists and missed nine of 15 free throw attempts. The Dukes shot 28 percent from the field in the second half, 35 percent for the game.
The Monarchs shot 56 percent, including 61 percent in the first half.
Isaiah Hunter scored 14 points for Old Dominion. Arnaud Dahi added 12 and Kiah Thomas 10.
Cavell Johnson led James Madison with 11 points.
