POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Marvin Moss scored five of his 23 points in overtime to lead Montana State in a 74-66 win at Idaho State on Saturday.
Moss scored the first three points of OT for the Bobcats (7-8, 2-0 Big Sky), who needed the overtime after allowing the Bengals (6-8, 0-2) to rally from an eight-point deficit late in the second half.
Montana State led 51-43 with 8:32 remaining, but Idaho State scored the next nine points to take a brief lead.
The game was tied at 60 and both teams had chances to win it in regulation, but Montana State's Branden Miller was called for traveling with 14 seconds to play. Nate Rede had a chance to win it for Idaho State, but his shot was blocked as time ran out.
Rede scored 19 points and had seven rebounds. Miller finished with 14 points for Montana State.
